New album from the increasingly less solo endeavor of Matt Mondanile (guitarist from Real Estate). The Flower Lane was recorded and mixed over the summer of 2012 with Al Carlson (Peaking Lights, Oneohtrix Point Never) and includes contributions from members of Big Troubles, Oneohtrix Point Never, Ford + Lopatin, Real Estate and Cults.
Local Natives – Hummingbird (French Kiss)
Available in Regular and Deluxe editions. Deluxe comes with bonus tracks, printed inner sleeves and two fold-out posters in a die-cut slipcase. Shining opener “You & I” is the album’s calling card, bathing synthetic drums in warm organs and surfy guitars, and the band’s signature sky-high harmonies.
